JUDGMENT
The issue involved in the writ petition is squarely covered in favour of the petitioner by the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in State of Kerala v. Sneha Cheriyan [2013 (1) KLT 755 SC] and the decision of this Hon'ble Court in Nair Service Society v. State of Kerala and others [2014 (4) KLT 921]. Accordingly, the writ petition is allowed by directing the 1st respondent to approve the appointment of the petitioner as UPSA with effect from 04.06.2008 on regular scale of pay basis within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The 1st respondent shall also take steps to disburse the consequential monetary benefits, flowing to the petitioner from the said approval within a period of one month thereafter.
