JUDGMENT

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader.

2. By this writ petition the petitioner has prayed for police protection seeking a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection from the threat of respondents 3 to 7. Petitioner's case in the writ petition is that respondents 3 to 7 are local residents who are abusing the petitioner and an incident took place on 06.08.2015. In the writ petition the petitioner does not refer to any complaint filed before the police authorities.

2. Learned Government Pleader submits that no complaint has been received. Petitioner's counsel submits that only oral information was given to the police authorities. In case the petitioner has any allegation of committing offence or there is any attempt to commit offence, it is open for the petitioner to file a proper complaint before the authorities concerned.
