================ W.P.(C) No. 24112 of 2015 ======================= Dated this the 6th day of October, 2015
JUDGMENT
The complaint of the petitioner is that in Crime No.915/2014 of the Kulathupuzha Police Station registered for the offence punishable under Section 379 IPC, in which the lorry belongs to the petitioner was stolen away, no fruitful investigation is going on. The petitioner has sought for the handing over of the investigation to the Crime Branch or some other agencies.
2. The Investigating Officer has filed a statement detailing the courses adopted by the Investigating Officer in conducting the investigation. It seems that both the accused involved in the case have been identified. A1 was arrested in connection with another similar case, and his formal arrest has been recorded in the present crime. He has been questioned on obtaining custody and produced
W.P.(C) No. 24112 of 2015 back before court. The 2nd accused is identified as one Vinod, who is presently absconding. It seems that Police parties were deputed all over Kerala as well as Bangalore for tracing out the said Vinod. The said person is still absconding. The Police have made arrangement for surveillance near the places of the house of the 2nd accused. Only on arresting the 2nd accused, the whereabouts of the lorry could be traced out.
Presently, it seems that there is no laches from the part of the Police in conducting the investigation. Expecting a prompt investigation in the matter, this Writ Petition is presently closed. In the event of any further complaint or grievance, the petitioner is free to approach this Court again.
