JUDGMENT

The petitioner, who is a part time sweeper, seeks regularisation under the 3rd respondent Panchayat. In this connection, he has preferred Ext.P12 representation before the 2nd respondent and the limited prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P12 representation, taking into account Ext.P11 recommendation by the 3rd respondent, expeditiously, after hearing the petitioner.

I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as also the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P12 representation, after hearing the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The 2nd respondent, while passing orders as directed, shall take note of Ext.P11 recommendation, issued in
