JUDGMENT
The petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to make effective investigation on a complaint filed by him alleging certain offences. He has also another grievance that there is another false crime against him before the Kottakkal Police Station as Crime No.514/2014. Now, there is report by the Inspector of Police, Tirur that investigation in the crime registered on the writ petitioner's complaint is over, and that the final report prepared by the police is ready for approval. It is submitted that final report in the said crime will be submitted by the police very soon under Section 452, 506(ii), 323, 324, 34, 341 and 354 IPC. As regards other Crime No.401/2014 against the petitioner, there is report that the said crime stands referred on the finding that the dispute is one of civil nature.
When the investigation process is practically over and final report is also ready, the writ petitioner cannot have any grievance. It appears that the writ petitioner is now satisfied. Accordingly, this writ petition can be closed directing the police to submit final report, without any delay.
W.P.(C) No.24417 of 2014 20.02.2015 is recorded, and the writ petition is closed with direction to the police to submit final report in Crime No.401/2014, without any delay.
