The petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondent authority to consider and pass orders on Ext.P1 application along with Ext.P2 proposal for allowing revision of own timings in respect of petitioner's vehicle bearing No.KL-4 U 3945 operating in the route Cherthala-Vyttila.

2. The petitioner is operating a regular services on the above route. According to the petitioner, since the operation of service with the present time schedule is uneconomical, he submitted Ext.P1 request for revision of timings with Ext.P2 proposal to change the passing time of 10.02 a.m. at Poochakkal as 10.04 a.m. by giving 2 minutes halting time at Poochakkal instead of 2 minutes halting at Thavanakkadavu and allot the above said time slots to the petitioner's vehicle, which will be beneficial to the petitioner as well as the travelling public. According to the petitioner,

W.P.(C)No.24316 of 2015 the respondent authority is not taking any action to pass orders on Ext.P1 application. It is with this background the petitioner approached this Court.

3. I have heard the learned standing counsel for the respondent and the learned Government Pleader.

4. Considering the reliefs sought for and the submissions made, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and pass positive orders on Ext.P1 application along with Ext.P2 proposed timings. To facilitate an early action, it shall be open to the petitioner to produce a copy of the writ petition as well as a copy of this judgment before the respondent.
