J U D G M E N T
Shaffique, J.
The petitioner has approached this Court seeking for police protection alleging that respondents 5 to 8 are preventing him, his father and mother from entering into their house. It is stated that they were living in a property having an extent of 11.15 Ares in Re-Survey No.314/25 of Chakkuvarakkal Village. The building was constructed by the petitioner's father, who is presently mentally ill. The petitioner married one Jasmine and they had three children. Jasmine was murdered and the police had registered a crime against the petitioner and he is now involved in the said crime registered for the offence punishable under Sec.302 of IPC. He is granted bail by the Sessions Court, Kollam. But, when he attempted to come back to the residence of his father, it was known that his father and mother are residing with his sister. It is alleged that respondents 5 to 8, who are the office bearers of the Action Council threatened that the petitioner and his parents will put to an end if they tried to enter into their house. The petitioner
W.P.(C) No.24331 of 2015 -: 2 :- had given complaint to the police seeking for protection to peacefully reside in the family house without any obstruction from private respondents. Since no action had been taken in the matter, he has approached this Court.

Learned Government Pleader on instructions would submit that the petitioner is presently released on bail and if he decides to reside along with his father and mother and in the event of any obstruction from the local people, the police shall render necessary protection.
We record the submission of the learned Government Pleader and close the writ petition.
