JUDGMENT

The petitioner, who is working as an Electrician at the 1st respondent Society, has approached the respondents seeking a transfer to Kozhikode from Payyannur, where he is currently working. The request for transfer to Kozhikode is based on medical grounds and the prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Exts.P3 and P5 representations, that have been preferred by the petitioner before the 1st respondent, expeditiously.

I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as also the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and also the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Exts.P3 and P5 representations, after hearing the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the writ petition together with a copy of this judgment before the 1st respondent for further action.
