J U D G M E N T

The limited prayer in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P1, which was submitted by the petitioner for revision of own timings.

The petitioner is operating on the route between Cherthala and Aroor Temple with a set of timings last issued on 24.11.2011. According to him, now several services have been introduced through the said route and also covering major portions of the route and there were no revision of timings and also surrender of permits on this portion of the route. Hence, he filed Ext.P1 application for revision of the existing timings. Aggrieved by the non consideration of Ext.P1 by the respondent, the petitioner has approached this Court. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner

W.P.(C) No. 24781 of 2015 ..2..

and the learned Government Pleader in the matter. Considering the nature of the prayer, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P1 after affording the petitioner and the affected operators an opportunity of being heard, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. To facilitate an early action, the petitioner shall be at liberty to produce a copy of this judgment as well as a copy of this writ petition before the respondent at the earliest.
