JUDGMENT

The petitioner approached the first respondent under Clause 6

(2) of the Kerala Land Utilisation Order, 1967 ( for short, the 'Order') seeking a permission to utilise the land for other purposes. It is admitted that the land was converted much before the enactment of the Kerala Conservation of Paddy and Wet Land Act, 2008. In that view of the matter, there is no impediment in considering the petitioner's representation in terms of Clause 6 of the Order. Therefore, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider Ext.P4 representation after issuing notice to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
