J U D G M E N T

Seeking issue of granted permit, the petitioner has come up before this Court.

The petitioner is a stage carriage operator. He was granted with a regular moffusil permit by the 1st respondent to operate on the route between Thottakkadu Church and Thiruvalla, which was granted four months back. The permit comprises and covers places like Pulickalpadavu, Puliyankunnu, which, according to the petitioner, are virgin portions. According to the petitioner, any delay in issuing the permit would cause serious hardships to the petitioner and the travelling public. Hence, this writ petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned senior Government Pleader.

Considering the nature of the submissions and the

relief sought for, the respondent is directed to issue granted permit and settle timings of the petitioner's service after affording the petitioner and the affected parties an opportunity of being heard within a period of one month from the date receipt of a copy of this judgment.

To facilitate an early action, the petitioner shall be at liberty to produce a copy of this judgment as well as a copy of this writ petition before the respondent at the earliest.
