J U D G M E N T

The petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondent university for an expeditious revaluation of the petitioner's answer sheet.

The petitioner has completed her B.Tech Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Mahatma Gandhi University. She had studied her B.Tech in Viswa Jyothi College of Engineering and Technology, Muvattupuzha. The petitioner has passed all subjects of B.Tech Degree except the subject, Power System Analysis, in the 8th semester examination and she filed Ext.P2 application for revaluation. At the same time, the petitioner was offered an employment by the Infosys at Mysore and she has to join the Infosys on 26.10.2015. As she has to submit her provisional certificate at the time of joining, she seeks an order from this Court for an

expeditious revaluation of the failed subject. 3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent university.

The learned Standing Counsel for the respondent university, on instructions, submitted that the process of revaluation would be over by 22.10.2015. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent university to adhere to the time schedule and to complete the revaluation and to publish the results within the aforesaid time schedule. However, considering the urgency pointed out by the petitioner, it shall be open to the petitioner to apply for the confidential mark list immediately after the tabulation is over.
