JUDGMENT

The petitioner, who is working as Junior Superintendent at PH Division of the respondent Water Authority, is aggrieved by the fact that in Ext.P3 order, which shows the names of qualified Junior Superintendents, who are promoted as Divisional Accounts Officers, his name has not been included. The specific case of the petitioner is that, his seniority has not been correctly worked out by the respondent and, in this connection, he has preferred Ext.P2 representation before the 2nd respondent. The limited prayer of the petitioner in the writ petition is for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P2 representation, expeditiously, after hearing the petitioner.

I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as also the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents.

On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case as also the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P2 representation, after hearing the petitioner,
