JUDGMENT
The petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondent university for revaluation of his answer sheets within a time frame.
2. The petitioner is a B.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering) student of the first respondent university, who await placement on various companies. The petitioner failed for the Subject Code CS 305 Principles of programming language of 3rd semester exam. Therefore, he applied for revaluation of the same before the 2nd respondent by complying due procedure and paid the required fee; it is alleged.
3. The petitioner points out that he is about to get placement in some of the companies and he is a prospective candidate for the same. The petitioner further points out that the last date of application
WP(C)25219/15 -:2:- for revaluation is 26.6.2015. Therefore, as per the directions, the respondents need to publish the result within 45 days of last date of submission. However, result is not published. It is with this background, the petitioner has approached this Court.
4. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the respondent university.
5. The learned standing counsel for the respondent university on instructions submitted that the revaluation would be over by the end of September, 2015.
Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent university to adhere to the time schedule and to declare the results without delay.
