J U D G M E N T

The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking the following reliefs :

1. To pass appropriate Writ Order or Direction, commanding the 1st respondent to take action, in compliance with the Cooperative societies Act, Rules and Circulars, into the allegations as to favouritism exercised by the 3rd respondent in the selection process.

2. Pass appropriate writ Order or Direction commanding the 2nd respondent to conduct selection to the notified posts impartially and independently through an independent agency.

3. Pass appropriate Writ Order or Direction Quashing all selection process being vitiated by play of fraud, favouritism and political motives.

The petitioners are aggrieved by a Test and Interview that was conducted by the 2nd respondent for appointment to the post of two Attenders and one Peon. The petitioners were also applicants to the said posts.

There is no representation for the petitioners when the matter is taken up for final hearing. It is obvious that the petitioners are no longer interested in prosecuting this writ petition. The same is therefore dismissed.
