J U D G M E N T
The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P2 application submitted by him for reduction of trip.

The petitioner is a regular permit holder in respect of stage carriage bearing Reg.No.KL-07/AR 5299 on the route between Irinjalakuda and Thriprayar, which is valid up to 29.11.2018. As per Ext.P1 proceedings, in the afternoon, there is cut trip proceeding to Kallada. The service is proceeding at 12.40 pm to reach Kallada at 12.50 pm. As per the request, the petitioner submitted Ext.P2 application seeking slight variation. The petitioner alleges that operation of the petitioner's service to Kallada after reaching Thriprayar from Irinjalakuda is not at all beneficial for the passengers and for the crews of the stage carriages. According to him, the slight

deviation does not require even the change in timings also. As Ext.P2 application has not been considered yet, the petitioner has approached this Court.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned senior Government Pleader.
Considering the nature of the prayer, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P2 after affording the petitioner and the affected parties, if any, an opportunity of being heard, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. To facilitate an early action, the petitioner shall be at liberty to produce a copy of this judgment as well as a copy of this writ petition before the respondent at the earliest.
