JUDGMENT

The petitioner, who was a tenant in a building, that was proposed to be acquired in connection with the Kochi Metro Rail Projects, seeks adequate compensation for his displacement. In this connection, he has preferred Ext.P3 representation before the 3rd respondent, which is stated to have been received by the 3rd respondent on 22.09.2015. The limited prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider and pass orders on the said representation, expeditiously, after hearing the petitioner.

I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 4th respondent as also the learned Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents.

On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3 representation, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after hearing the

-2petitioner. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the writ petition together with a copy of this judgment before the 3rd respondent for further action.
