J U D G M E N T

The petitioner approached the District Collector for release of his vehicle bearing registration No.KL-40 B-363. The petitioner's case is that the vehicle has been seized from a quarry, which was employed by the petitioner for levelling the water-logged portion of the property and the property is not in a wet land. Considering the nature of issue, I am of the view that Ext.P5 request made by the petitioner before the District Collector, Ernakulam, shall be considered by the 1st respondent-District Collector, within 2 weeks of receipt of copy of this judgment. The District Collector shall take a decision after verifying the documents on record and the petitioner is free to produce any records before the District Collector. Sd/- A.MUHAMED MUSTAQUE, Judge.
