J U D G M E N T

Shaffique, J Petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection inter alia contending that the 4th respondent is creating nuisance and threatening the petitioner and his mother. Petitioner and his mother are residing near the residence of the 4th respondent. It is alleged that the 4th respondent, under the influence of alcohol, is threatening the petitioner and his mother and is not permitting them to use the pathway through which the petitioner and family enters their residence. Though complaint has been given to the police, no action has been taken in the matter and therefore the petitioner has approached this Court. 2.

The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the complaint given by the petitioner to the Director General of Police was forwarded for investigation. Police had investigated the matter and it was understood that there was some domestic issues between the petitioner and the 4th

respondent. The parties were advised to amicably resolve the issue and at present no untoward incident has been reported. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner, however, refer to Ext.P2 and submits that the petitioner is being threatened by the 4th respondent and often by sending messages in his mobile phone.

Be that as it may, if any offence is committed or there is any attempt to commit offence, it shall always be open for the petitioner to file necessary complaint before the police who shall look into the matter and take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
