JUDGMENT
The petitioner, who is a senior regular stage carriage permit holder operating on the route between Kidanhikunnu, Muchukunnu and Koyilandy with stage carriage bearing No.KL-56/F-87, has approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P1 request submitted by him.
2. The petitioner alleges that after the grant of permit to him, large number of services were introduced on the sectors of the route and some of the services have surrendered their permits. It is alleged that due to the introduction of new services on the route, the petitioner is not in a position to keep the time schedule. Therefore he submitted Ext.p1 request for revision of own timings. However, the respondent has not taken any action to consider the request. The grievance of the petitioner is that if there is any delay in considering Ext.P1, the timing proposed by him would be taken by other operators and he would be put to difficulties. It is with this background, the petitioner has approached this Court.
3. Arguments have been heard.
WP(C)25770/15 -:2:- Considering the nature of the submission and the nature of the relief sought for, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and dispose of Ext.P1 request submitted by the petitioner for revision of own timings, after affording the petitioner and the affected parties an opportunity of being heard, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
