J U D G M E N T
The petitioner operates service on the route by a leased vehicle. The petitioner wants a permit less certificate in respect of the vehicle. This is to enable another vehicle to be replaced on the same route.

Ext.P2 application put in by the petitioner is pending. I direct the respondent to consider Ext.P2 application with notice to the petitioner. The needful shall be done within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The grant of such certificate without insisting on surrender of the permit is a permissible exercise.
The Writ Petition is disposed of.
