JUDGMENT
The petitioner is stated as the owner of the property having an extent of 8.50 Ares situated in Block No.5, Re.Sy.No.179/9 of Pookkottur Village, in Ernad Taluk in Malappuram District. According to the petitioner, the land in question is a 'dry land', at least for the last 20 years. Though the land in question is actually a 'dry land', it has been described as 'paddy land' in the revenue records. The grievance of the petitioner is that, despite filing Ext.P2 application under Clause 6 of the Kerala Land Utilisation order before the Revenue Divisional Officer/respondent seeking permission for correction in the revenue records, the same is still to be considered by the respondent. Hence the challenge.
2.Heard the learned Government Pleader as well. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is given to the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext. P2 application within a reasonable time.
W.P.(C) No. 26306 of 2015 (K) 4.In view of the pendency of the above application, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P2 application, after verifying the draft data bank, by giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other parties, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
