J U D G M E N T

The petitioner approached this Court aggrieved by Ext.P2 notice issued by the District Registrar General, Palakkad. The release deed has been executed in favour of the petitioner, which is produced as Ext.P1. It appears that one Ravi has filed a complaint before the I.G.(Registration). Ext.P2 in fact has been issued based on the complaint issued by Ravi to cancel the registration deed.

2. This Court is of the view that if any person has any grievance against the registration and the right connected thereto, he is free to challenge the same before the civil court. If registering authority is of the view, by independent enquiry, that any fraud is committed by the authority, they are free to act upon in accordance with law.

3. This Court is of the view that the petitioner need not produce the basic documents such as possession certificate, purchase

certificate and other documents as requested in Ext.P2 before the District Registrar General, Palakkad as ordered by Ext.P2. The petitioner is free to raise any objection to Ext.P2 and appropriate orders may be passed by the District Registrar (General) in accordance with law.
