J U D G M E N T

The petitioner has been suspended on the basis of a crime registered against him. The petitioner has been on suspension for the last 28 months.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Board submits that an enquiry is pending and that the same would be expedited. However, in the meanwhile, the petitioner's representation at Ext.P3, for reinstatement will be considered by the 2nd respondent after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The same shall be done within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this judgment. It is made clear that this Court has not made any observations on merits.

The writ petition is disposed of.
