JUDGMENT

The petitioner claims to be a transferee of the vehicle KL-04/M 6440 from the second respondent. The petitioner apprehends that the second respondent might apply for a duplicate certificate of registration for the vehicle.

2.

The petitioner has filed Ext. P3 objection with the first respondent as regards the grant of any duplicate certificate of registration. The petitioner confines his relief to an early consideration of Ext. P3 objection. 3.

The first respondent is directed to put the petitioner on notice and consider Ext. P3 objection. The same shall be done in the event of second respondent or any other person applying for a duplicate certificate of registration.

The writ petition is disposed of.
