J U D G M E N T

Shaffique, J.

This writ petition is filed seeking for police protection. It is inter alia contended that the 4th respondent was harassing the petitioner by threatening him.

Learned Government Pleader submits that there had been financial transactions between the parties, which resulted in the issues. The police had enquired into the matter and asked the parties to maintain law and order. It is submitted that during the pendency of the writ petition, no untoward incident has been reported.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would however submit that last week, there had been an incident, for which, a complaint has also been filed.

Under such circumstances, we close the writ petition observing that if there is any fresh cause of action, it is always open for the petitioner to approach the police, who shall look into the matter and do the needful.
