JUDGMENT

Shaffique, J.

Petitioners have approached this Court alleging harassment by police. It is stated that they want to get married and they have already issued notice under the Special Marriage Act, 1954. It is stated that the respondent Police Officers are harassing the petitioners at the instance of the family members of the petitioners.

Learned Senior Government Pleader on instructions would submit that the first petitioner has attained the age of 21 years only three months back and second petitioner is aged 40 years and she has two children. The mother of the first petitioner has given a complaint alleging that the 2nd petitioner has unlawfully detained the first petitioner and asked for ransom. This matter was enquired by the 1st respondent over telephone and he was informed that the petitioners are intending to marry. Thereafter police has not taken any action in the matter.

WP(C) No.26461 of 2015 -:2:- We record the submission of learned Government Pleader. There is no case of police harassment. Accordingly, we close the writ petition.
