The petitioner is presently working as Lower Primary School Assistant in Balikamariyam L.P.School, Kollam. She was appointed for three spells, namely, from 13.10.2011 to 9.12.2011, 3.1.2012 to 7.3.2012 and 4.6.2012 to 4.9.2013 as an Upper Primary School Assistant. The appointments for the said spells were sent up for approval, but the same was rejected by the Assistant Educational Officer. Further proceedings by way of appeal and revision also did not meet with any success, and, therefore, the petitioner preferred Ext.P13 revision before the 1st respondent and the same is stated to be pending before the 1st respondent. The limited prayer of the petitioner in the writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to approve the appointment of the petitioner with effect from the dates from which she was appointed as UPSA in the School.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as also the learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

W.P.(C).No.26695/2014 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case as also the submissions made across the bar, I note that prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to approve the appointment of the petitioner for the three spells of appointments, referred to above. Ext.P13 revision praying for the same relief is pending before the 1st respondent. Under the circumstances, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P13 revision petition, after hearing the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
