JUDGMENT

The petitioner retired from service on 31.5.2014 while working as Driver in the Guruvayoor Depot of the KSRTC. He has filed this Writ Petition seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to sanction and disburse the leave salary arrears after granting annual increments for the period from 2008 to 31.5.2014, the date on which he retired from service on attaining his superannuation. The petitioner has submitted Ext.P2 representation before the 1st respondent. The allegations of the petitioner is that Ext.P2 representation is now pending consideration before the 1st respondent.

2.

I heard the arguments of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the KSRTC. Considering the fact that Ext.P2 representation submitted by the petitioner is still pending consideration before the 1st respondent, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st

W.P.(C).No.26508 of 2015 respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the aforesaid representation as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
