JUDGMENT

There cannot be a simultaneous consideration of the application for renewal of permit and replacement of the vehicle. The application for renewal of the permit has to be considered first. The same shall be done within a period of one month from today.

The application for replacement of the vehicle shall be considered thereafter. The same shall be done within a period of two weeks therefrom. The application for renewal of permit shall be considered by the second respondent and the application for replacement of vehicle shall be considered by the first respondent as per delegated powers. 3.

Ext. P5 application for temporary permit shall however be considered with expedition. The same shall be done by the first respondent within a period of two weeks. The writ petition is disposed of.
