J U D G M E N T

Shaffique, J.

Petitioner has approached this Court seeking for police protection. It is stated that he is a civil contractor engaged in carrying out certain civil constructions. It is submitted that respondents 3 to 5 have obstructed the work being carried on by demanding huge amounts. Petitioner had given complaints to the police, but since, no action had been taken in the matter, this writ petition is filed.

Learned Government Pleader on instructions would submit that police is not in receipt of Exts.P3 and P4 complaints. Learned counsel submits that they attempted to submit the complaints yesterday (09/09/2015).

Having regard to the fact that the police have not received the complaints, we do not think that a direction as sought for can be granted in this writ petition. We only observe

W.P(C) No.27396/2015 -:2:- that it is for the petitioner to approach the police with the necessary complaints, in which event, police shall look into the matter and do the needful.

Writ petition is closed.
