JUDGMENT

The petitioner is the absolute owner in possession of 6.24 cents of land covered by Exts.P1 & P2 release deeds. The petitioner sought for mutation and approached the authority to effect transfer of registry, the same was not considered. Therefore, the petitioner filed Ext.P3 application before the 3rd respondent. Even after Ext.P3, the respondents have not taken any steps to effect mutation in the name of the petitioner, hence this writ petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the Tahsildar/1st respondent to consider Ext.P3 representation, after issuing notice to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, within a period one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
