J U D G M E N T

Petitioner and her husband are holders of Indian Passport. The petitioner's grievance is that in her passport, her husband's name is shown incorrectly. It is submitted that her husband's name is correctly shown in the passport held by him.

2. In that view of the matter, the petitioner shall produce the husband's passport and also necessary documents showing the marriage with the husband. While considering the application submitted by the petitioner, the respondent shall also verify the application submitted by the petitioner and also the name of the person whose name was shown in the application as spouse. Needful shall be done within a period of one month of receipt of copy of this judgment, after giving notice to the petitioner.
