Ext.P3 application for temporary permit deserves to be dealt with under Section 87(1)(c) of the Motor Vehicles Act. This is because the application for renewal of the regular permit has not been filed in time.
2. I direct the second respondent to consider Ext.P3 application for temporary permit within a period of two weeks. Ext.P4 order in W.P.(C) No.10484/2011 shall also be adverted to in the exercise.
The Writ Petition is disposed of.
