Shaffique, J Petitioner has approached this Court alleging harassment by the 2nd respondent, who is an additional Sub Inspector of Police attached to Special Branch, Chenganoor. It is stated that he, being the close relative of the 3rd respondent, is abusing his power to settle the dispute relating to crime No.170/2015 registered against respondents 2 and 3. It is stated that he is also unnecessarily interfering in the matrimonial dispute and demanding huge amount as compensation.

2.

The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, crime has been registered and the same is charge sheeted and another crime has been registered against the 3rd respondent as well. As far as the 2nd respondent is concerned, petitioner has filed an application before the State Police Complaints Authority who had taken cognizance of the matter and the case is posted for hearing on 07/10/2015.

Having regard to the fact that the complaint given by the petitioner had been taken cognizance by the competent authority, we do not think that any further orders are required to be passed in the writ petition. Accordingly, we take on record the submission of the learned Government Pleader and close this writ petition.
