J U D G M E N T

The petitioner's vehicle No.KL-55D/485 have been seized on the allegation that the petitioner's vehicle was used for the reclamation of paddy land comprised in R.S.No.4/2 of the Mangalam Village. The vehicle has been released to the petitioner as per the interim direction of this Court on executing a simple bond. The petitioner confines the prayer for expeditious conclusion of the proceedings initiated by the District Collector. In the light of facts and circumstances, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to conclude the proceedings within one month from the date of receipt of the copy of this judgment. It is made clear that the interim order passed by this Court against alienation will continue till the decision is taken by the District Collector and the right of the petitioner to alienate the vehicle would depend upon the decision of the District Collector.
