JUDGMENT

Ashok Bhushan, C.J.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader. No notice is being issued to the 2nd respondent in view of the order which is being passed.

2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking police protection from the 2nd respondent. The case of the petitioner is that she was married to the 2nd respondent on 22.03.2010, however, proceedings for divorce are pending in O.P. No.1704 of 2015 in the Family Court, Ernakulam. Petitioner submits that she has a 41⁄2 year girl child in the said wedlock and is living with the petitioner who is living separately at the address mentioned in the petition. Petitioner apprehends that the 2nd respondent will take the child forcefully and she filed a complaint, Ext.P2 before the 1st respondent.

3. Learned Government Pleader submits that after receiving the complaint from the petitioner, she was called to

WP(C) No. 28205 of 2015 -:2:- appear on 15.09.2015 to record her statement. But she did not appear. Learned Government Pleader further submits that Police went to the flat where the petitioner is residing and has also informed that in the event any untoward incident takes place, the petitioner shall inform the police, who are ready to do the needful.

Recording the aforesaid statement of learned Government Pleader, we close this Writ Petition. Ashok Bhushan, Chief Justice.
