J U D G M E N T
Ashok Bhushan, C.J.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader. No notice is being issued to the 4th respondent in view of the judgment which is being passed. 2.
Petitioner by this writ petition has prayed for a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to afford sufficient police protection from the unlawful acts of the 4th respondent. The 4th respondent is the half brother of the petitioner. Another half brother one Saneesh died with regard to which an investigation was conducted by the police and it was found to be a case of suicide. There were allegation and counter allegation between the petitioner and the 4th respondent. Petitioner has submitted Ext.P2 complaint against the 4th respondent. Petitioner in the above background has come up in the writ petition seeking police protection.

We are of the view that, in the facts of the present case, no direction need be issued as prayed for. We only observe that, if any offence is committed or attempted against the petitioner, it is open for the petitioner to file appropriate complaint, which shall be looked into.
Writ petition is closed.
