JUDGMENT

The petitioner applied for VRS as per his application dated 18.12.2013. This was accepted by the Board meeting of the respondent Corporation on 8.10.2014. The petitioner submits that before acceptance, he has withdrawn VRS application as per the letter dated 22.8.2014. The petitioner in this writ petition challenging the acceptance of VRS application by the Board as per the proceedings dated 8.10.2013. The proceedings of the Board is produced as Ext.P7.

In this matter, a counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents. It is stated that as per Ext.R1(a) proceedings dated 30.10.2010, a decision was taken to cancel acceptance of the application of the petitioner dated

W.P.(C) No.28917 of 2014 2 22.8.2014 for the withdrawal of VRS. In view of Ext.R1(a), no further orders are necessary as the Board has cancelled the decision to accept VRS and also allowed the application submitted by the petitioner for withdrawing VRS.
