JUDGMENT

The relief sought by the petitioner in W.P.(C)No.28974 of 2015 is to declare that clause 8(b)(ii) of Ext.P4 seat sharing agreement which reserves 10% of the seats in self financing medical colleges to candidates in the State of Kerala to candidates from outside the State of Kerala is illegal and arbitrary. She also seeks a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to modify clause 8(b)(ii) of Ext.P4 seat sharing agreement so as to enable her to get admission for the M.B.B.S. Degree Course in the State of Kerala. The relief sought by the very same petitioner in W.P.(C)No.29374 of 2015 is to quash Exts.P7 and P8 orders passed by the Admission Supervisory Committee and Fee Regulatory Committee for Professional Colleges in Kerala whereby the said authority declined permission to two self financing medical colleges to give admission to the petitioner for the M.B.B.S. Degree Course against the seats reserved for persons from outside the State of Kerala.

When these writ petitions came up for hearing today, Smt.C.M.Charisma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has, after the writ petitions were filed, got admission for the M.B.B.S. Degree Course in the State of Kerala in the N.R.I. quota, that she does not have any subsisting grievance and therefore, she is not desirous of prosecuting the writ petitions any further.

In the light of the aforesaid submission, these writ petitions are dismissed as not pressed.
