JUDGMENT

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the fixed deposit was made in her name when she was a minor based on the compensation amount due to her on account of death of her father in an accident at abroad. The learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that now she attained the majority.

2. This Court is of the view that if the petitioner produce necessary identification, the fixed deposit shall be released to the petitioner by the respondent. Needful shall be done within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
