Ashok Bhushan, CJ Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.
2.
This writ petition has been filed alleging police harassment. Petitioner's case is that a marriage proposal between her son and the daughter of the 6th respondent was finalised. However, due to some differences, marriage could not be finalised and at the instance of the 6th respondent, petitioner is being called at the police station and harassed. 3.
The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that on a complaint received from the daughter of the 6th respondent against the son of the petitioner, petitioner's son was asked to come at the police station on 16/09/2015. But, on 16/09/2015, petitioner's son did not appear. Petitioner appeared and has given a statement that her son had left for Dubai. It is further submitted by the learned Government Pleader
that, in view of the aforesaid, the complaint has been closed and no further action has been taken in the matter. We do not think that there is any case of police harassment in this writ petition. Recording the submission of the learned Government Pleader, we close this writ petition. (sd/-) (ASHOK BHUSHAN, CHIEF JUSTICE) (sd/-) (A.M.SHAFFIQUE, JUDGE) jsr/28/09/2015
