JUDGMENT
The petitioner has approached this Court alleging that there is threat from the respondent that she would not be allowed to participate in the National Roller Skating Championships as she did not board the train along with the team. This Court by interim order dated 20.12.2013 observed that parents of the petitioner could not send the petitioner alone in the train from Trivandrum without being accompanied by a Lady Manager. However, they have made their own arrangements to have the petitioner taken to the destination on time by other means and the petitioner has reached Mumbai already. In view of the said circumstances, this Court directed the respondent to allow participation of the petitioner in 'Artistic Skating' (sub junior) of the 51st National Roller Skating Championships, Virar, Thane, Mumbai, which was held on 20.12.2013.
2. Today when the matter came up for hearing, it was submitted by both sides that on the basis of the interim order, the petitioner participated in the event and she has got Bronze medal.
W.P.(C) No.31945 of 2013 Since the petitioner has participated in the event and has secured a position, it is only just and proper to make the interim order absolute.
Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of making the interim order already passed absolute and directing respondent to issue the certificate evidencing the entitlement of the petitioner in the event. Sd/- A.V.RAMAKRISHNA PILLAI (JUDGE) vdv //True Copy// P.A to Judge
