J U D G M E N T

The petitioner contends that his vehicle KL-17-D-887 was off the road for quite sometime. The petitioner points out that the vehicle had temporary permit only till 07.04.2013. The petitioner in short contends that he is liable to pay motor vehicles tax at the non-transport tax rate only. Reliance is placed on decision in Mini Dileep v. RTO, Kottayam and Others [2013(3) KLT 97] in this regard.

I direct the respondent to consider Ext. P3 representation with notice to the petitioner within a period of three weeks.

The writ petition is disposed of.
