J U D G M E N T
Ashok Bhushan, CJ Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Advocate General.
No notice is being issued to the 2nd respondent in view of the judgment being passed today. 2.
This writ petition has been filed praying for police protection. Petitioner seeks a direction to the 1st respondent to afford protection against the threats of the 2nd respondent. 2nd respondent is the co-brother of the petitioner. Petitioner's case in the writ petition is that on account of the wife of the 2nd respondent having filed a complaint against the 2nd respondent in which petitioner is cited as a witness, 2nd respondent has become enemical to the petitioner.

It has been pointed out by the learned additional Advocate General that, with regard to an incident, crime has been registered against the petitioner in which he was arrested and subsequently bailed out.

From the facts brought on record, we do not see any ground to issue any direction, as prayed for. We only observe that if any offence is committed or there is any attempt to commit offence, it is always open for the petitioner to file necessary complaint before the police who shall look into the matter and take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
