JUDGMENT
The petitioner, aggrieved by rejection of arms licence, has approached this Court. The petitioner's application has been considered based on the remand order passed by the Land Revenue Commissioner. Ext.P3 is the order. In the order, it is stated that there is no threat to the life of the petitioner. 2.
This Court in several judgments held that the absence of threat to life of the holder of licence cannot be a reason to deny the arms licence.
In view of the above, the impugned order is set aside and there shall be a direction to the respondents to renew the licence within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
