JUDGMENT

The first petitioner divorced the second petitioner. Both belong to Muslim Community. The parties have affirmed that they have been divorced and living separately. They seek correction in the Passports.

Learned counsel for respondents submits that the respondents have not received any request from the petitioners. This Court is of the view that if the petitioners make a request for correction in their Passports in relation to the spouse details, based on the order of this Court, necessary action shall be taken to correct the spouse details in the Passports without insisting for divorce decree.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
