2. The following are the prayers sought for by the petitioners in the writ petition:

"i. Issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to submit relevant bills pertaining to the benefits entitled to the petitioners under D.A arrears, Group Insurance Scheme and Earned Leave Surrender to the 1st respondent.

ii. Issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to issue appropriate orders sanctioning the benefits entitled to the petitioners under the heads of D.A arrears, Group Insurance Scheme and Earned Leave Surrender and further direct the 2nd

W.P.(C) No. 29874 of 2014 respondent to disburse the sanctioned amounts within a time frame."

3. The petitioners retired from service. Their request is that there will be expeditious consideration of disbursement of amounts which are due to them under various claims.

In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, respondents 1 and 2 are directed to do the needful to ensure that all amounts found due to the writ petitioners are released at the earliest, without delay. Let this be done within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. If the 1st respondent sees that there is any delay on the part of the 2nd respondent in forwarding the bills, the 1st respondent is hereby authorized to issue directions to the 2nd respondent, who shall promptly obey those directions as if they are directions issued by this Court.
