The petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection. It is stated that certain civil disputes are pending between the petitioner and respondents 3 and 4 who are relatives of the petitioner. It is also stated that on 18.9.2015, an attempt was made by respondents 3 and 4 along with certain other persons, to trespass into the property of the petitioner and to construct a compound wall. When the police was called, they came and prevented such activities. Thereafter also, the petitioner received several threatening calls and under fear of life, he filed Ext.P2 complaint. Averring that no action is taken in the matter by the police, this writ petition is filed.
2. The learned Government Pleader on instruction submitted that based on Ext.P2 complaint, the parties were
W.P.(C)No.29659 of 2015 summoned to the police station on 23.9.2015 and they were asked to maintain peace and not to involve in any illegal activities.
3. Having regard to the fact that the police has taken necessary action to prevent such illegal activities, we do not think a direction as sought for is required to be passed. However, we only observe that if there is any further complaint, the police shall maintain law and order situation. This writ petition is closed with the above observation. Sd/- ASHOK BHUSHAN, CHIEF JUSTICE.
Sd/- A.M.SHAFFIQUE, JUDGE.
