J U D G M E N T
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ This is a case wherein around 10 crores of rupees have been swindled and misappropriated from a co-operative bank. The investigation was going on in snail's pace, which has provoked the petitioner to approach this Court through this writ petition. It seems that presently, investigation is being conducted by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kannur by constituting a special investigation team.

It has been reported that presently, a special audit team has been constituted by the Joint Director of Co-operative Societies(Audit), Kannur and auditing is going on. The special investigation team is awaiting audit report to arrive at the actual amount that has been misappropriated from the bank.

With liberty to the petitioner to approach this Court again, presently, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kannur, who is heading the special investigation team to expedite the investigation and to complete the investigation expeditiously, at any rate, within a period of six months from today.
